Dean Kapetanakis

Dean has a master’s degree in Physical Therapy with certifications from the McKenzie Institute for Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of spinal and peripheral injuries as well as from the American Physical Therapy Association for clinical instruction. Dean has trained at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, St. Vincent’s hospital, Lutheran hospital, Staten Island University Hospital, and the NYC public school system. He has over 25 years of experience with orthopedic, sports, and neurologic injuries including vestibular and balance rehabilitation. Dean also lectures regularly at the College of Staten Island in their advanced topics course for graduate physical therapy students. Dean started ProCare Rehabilitation, LLC in Clark NJ over 10 years ago. Since then ProCare has been involved in multiple community activities and charities including, but not limited to, ALJ & Colonia HS sports programs, Linden, Rahway & Clark Fire Departments, Fish Hospitality, Cranford Family Cares, Toys For Tots, Raphael’s Life House, Cranford Jaycees, Cranford Baseball & Softball League, St. Michael’s Wounded Warrior project and numerous charitable 5K events. Dean resides in Cranford NJ with his family.
